For Lions clubs and community sponsors

Fund sight in your own community, and be named for it.

Lions Clubs International has worked on vision for a century. This is a way to put that work behind a specific screening, in specific schools, with numbers you can read at the next meeting.

What you actually do

Three things, none of which add a visit.

OneSponsor a school or a districtUnderwrite screening for a defined group of children in your own community.
TwoAppear where the work happensSponsors are named in the screening program your club is funding.
ThreeSee what your money didScreening counts, referral counts and outcomes, reported back to the club.

What it changes for you

  • A vision project with a number attached to it
  • Recognition in the community you are already serving
  • Reporting you can present to members and to district
  • A direct line to the schools your club supports

What it changes for them

A club that funds a season of screening in one district can be the reason a specific child is found in kindergarten instead of seventh grade.
